Defence Services Exam Coaching Center

The National Defence Academy (NDA) is the Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces. Here, the cadets of Army, Air Force, and Navy are trained before going to pre-commissioning training in the service academies, i.e. the Indian Military Academy or IMA Dehradun for army cadets, Air Force Academy Hyderabad for Air force cadets, and Naval Academy Cochin for Naval Cadets. The NDA is situated at Khadakwasla near Pune, Maharashtra.

Alar Academy provides coaching for the NDA/NA and Airforce X Group written examinations. Our faculty is highly qualified and experienced. They ensure to build confidence in students and prepare them well for the future. We cover the entire syllabus and also prepare the students with regular mock tests, previous year question paper discussion, and doubt classes. This helps the students to know how to approach the examination, what sort of questions to expect in the examination, how to manage time efficiently, and get the score. We have a Pre-Target Batch for class-11 students and Target Batch for class-12 students.

The written exam coaching includes English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, History, Geography, Polity, etc.

NDA/NA written entrance exam is conducted by UPSC twice a year in April and September. Notification for the exam is released in the month of Dec/Jan for the April exam and May/June for the September exam. Once the notification is released, candidates can apply online for the exam on the official website of UPSC

Eligibility Criteria:
NDA/NA
1. The candidate must be between 16 ½ to 19 ½ years of age on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence.
2. 12th Class of 10+2 System of Education. Maths and Physics are compulsory for the Air force and Navy. The Commerce and Arts students can apply for the Army.
3. Unmarried male candidates only.

Airforce X Group
1. The candidate must be between 17 to 21 years of age.
2. Passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR Passed 3 years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream with 50% marks in aggregate, and 50% marks in English in Diploma.

ARMY- Army cadets get a blend of indoor and outdoor training at IMA.
NAVY- Naval cadets learn about Navigation, Seamanship, and Communication.
AIR FORCE- AFTT aims to train Air Force cadets in the basics of military aviation.
